Website application login

For an HTTP/HTTPS connection, open Protocol → Application, choose the website application, and save. Selection is manual by default: it does not enable credential submission or change certificate policy, passwords, or icon. Hosted presets may supply their HTTPS address and port; Adobe Admin Console, Instagram and Canva fill only a blank address and preserve custom hosts. Use their explicit login-address action to replace a custom host. The suggested icon is an explicit action; a neutral application symbol is used when no dedicated mark is available.

Choose Automatic form login only to submit the saved website account once. API tokens, agent credentials, remote desktop passwords, and native integration sessions are not interchangeable with website authentication. A failed login is not automatically retried. Custom forms can require reviewed selector overrides.

Reviewed multi-step sign-in is available in the native browser. Each credential step is restricted to the saved connection or a reviewed sign-in origin, path, and frame. The legacy browser refuses these multi-step profiles rather than guessing another form. Manual browsing retains saved credentials for the Type username and Type password actions without sending them automatically. Escape during assisted typing cancels it and clears the values that assistance entered.

The right side of the status bar shows the active native tab’s login stage, elapsed time and concurrent login count. Open it for details. Login submitted reports submission, not confirmation that the website accepted the account. Cloudflare security pages pause credential delivery for a bounded wait. An incompatible-network page may be refreshed once; CAPTCHA and approval remain interactive.

For Drone CI, save the Git provider and its HTTPS sign-in origin on the Drone connection. Credentials go only to that reviewed provider; the Gogs flow uses Drone’s own reviewed form. Gitea authenticator codes require explicit setup, and automatic application consent also requires the saved OAuth client ID and the exact Drone callback. Unreviewed providers remain interactive.

TP-Link EAP covers the reviewed standalone EAP225 v3 login widget and uses native key input so the website performs its own password hashing. It does not claim Omada controller or first-time setup support. Time4VPS opens its observed Client Area address but remains manual until its login and two-factor forms can be reviewed. Public form reads were blocked or showed maintenance, and no authenticated site login is claimed by these fixture checks.

When a private proxy fails, the browser can replace the attempt once and then shows the app’s diagnostics. Restart internal proxy rebuilds that tab’s owned relay and browser context. The diagnostic copy includes fixed failure and proxy-health facts, with credentials and private URL components removed.

FreePBX Administration FreePBX 16/17 Administration dialog at /admin Manual: MFA, SSO, password changes and UCP are separate flows

These are source-reviewed templates and synthetic regression fixtures, not a claim that every deployed version, custom theme, authentication extension, or signed-in site has been tested. Login paths and challenge DOM must match. Changed or unsupported forms remain interactive rather than receiving a guessed code.

For a first-party Google website, the service page, Google Account login and reviewed static/API origins stay inside one native proxy session with distinct protected aliases and shared native cookies. The proxy keeps the WebView’s native User-Agent exactly as supplied. Automatic form login can use this connection’s credential or its selected application-vault credential. The email, password and optional TOTP code are each released only at their exact reviewed stage; navigation, expiry, replay or an unknown challenge closes the grant. Google may still refuse an embedded browser.

For Nginx Proxy Manager, the login helper waits for the selected form before redeeming its one-use credential grant. This leaves the grant available when the legacy dashboard shell redirects to /login. It clicks the page’s own Sign in button once; it does not bypass the website’s login handler or retry a rejected password. Source: legacy dashboard startup and login redirect.

For FreePBX, choose FreePBX Administration under Networking / proxies. The default entry is /admin; open the Administration login dialog to expose its controls. With Automatic form login enabled, the helper fills that live dialog and clicks Continue, leaving the hidden template and separate UCP user portal untouched. Both connection-local and selected vault credentials use the existing protected credential flow. MFA, SSO, password changes, UCP (/ucp), and older or customized layouts remain interactive. Source-reviewed fixtures use the FreePBX admin form and dialog handlers; these are not live deployment acceptance tests.

For Joomla, choose the version and optional custom administrator entry path in Application settings; these choices never enable login or MFA. A legacy same-form secretkey field leaves the filled password form for you to complete and submit, while modern captive MFA stays a separate manual challenge. Existing selector overrides, original-origin checks, CSRF fields and explicit fill-only settings still apply. See Joomla versions and administrator paths for the source-reviewed version matrix and its limits. A filled password or visible OTP prompt does not mean authentication succeeded.

Adobe Admin Console, Instagram and Canva

Select the distinct profile and explicitly opt into Automatic form login only if the assistance below suits the account. All three default to Manual; saved or selected vault credentials use the standard protected resolver, never a preemptive HTTP Basic header. Their entry addresses must match the exact hosted HTTPS origin on port 443. Profile selection resets prior automatic-login, selector and automatic-MFA settings, without overwriting credentials or TLS policy. Their descriptions deliberately do not promise completed sign-in.

Adobe Admin Console

adobe-admin-console opens https://adminconsole.adobe.com/. The separate Adobe Account profile (adobe, https://account.adobe.com/) stays manual-only. The reviewed staged flow is limited to the English public login document, https://auth.services.adobe.com/en_US/index.html: email at #/, then password at #/password. Public staged selectors were verified and reduced synthetic fixtures exercise the adapter:

  • form#EmailForm, input#EmailPage-EmailField[name="username"][type="email"], and button[data-id="EmailPage-ContinueButton"][type="submit"].
  • form#PasswordForm, input#PasswordPage-PasswordField[name="password"][type="password"], and button[data-id="PasswordPage-ContinueButton"][type="submit"], with the form’s username identity checked against the preceding email stage.

The adobe / adobe-form flow releases email and password separately using one-use document-bound grants and the page’s own handlers. Routing permission alone cannot release credentials. Selector overrides, other locales, SSO, account/profile choice, MFA, CAPTCHA and recovery are not generalized into automatic steps. Public form review and fixture tests are not authenticated live-account proof.

Instagram

instagram opens https://www.instagram.com/accounts/login/. Opt-in assistance uses a strict same-form username/password adapter and one submission, with form input[name="username"], form input[name="password"][type="password"] and form button[type="submit"]. The public HTML inspected was unhydrated; these strict fixture-tested controls are not verified live hydrated markup. There is no dedicated staged authentication mode. Checkpoints, 2FA, recovery, CAPTCHA and linked-account flows remain interactive unless separately reviewed.

Canva

canva opens https://www.canva.com/login/. It offers generic current-form email/password assistance, not a reviewed Canva-specific flow. Public markup research returned HTTP 403: there are no verified Canva selectors and no staged login mode. Explicit opt-in may fill/submit a supported current password form, or use user-supplied selectors through existing generic settings. It does not open the email-login choice, advance an identifier/code step, or automate SSO, security challenges or account selection. This is not full Canva automatic login support. Its reviewed marker enables exact routing only, not a staged credential grant. Canva’s dedicated local SVG icon is an optional suggestion.

For all three, the exact first-party route catalogs keep supported embedded documents, resources and redirects on the native proxy path, with no direct-network fallback, wildcard origin approval or security relaxation. Resource-only hosts cannot become login documents. An explicit system-browser handoff remains separate, using OS routing and separate cookies; it is not a fallback inside the embedded proxy or proof that its session is authenticated.

ChatGPT and Claude website login

The chatgpt and claude presets are manual by default. To enable bounded login assistance, explicitly choose automatic login and the saved connection or vault identity. Use the canonical HTTPS authority on port 443 (chatgpt.com or claude.ai); a lookalike, custom host, HTTP address or alternate port does not inherit the provider’s credential grant. OpenAI and Anthropic API keys are not accepted as website login credentials.

ChatGPT

The entry is https://chatgpt.com/auth/login. The bounded semantic adapter assists with email and password only when it recognizes the expected controls on known login paths, including https://auth.openai.com/log-in and /log-in/password. It does not manufacture a missing authentication transaction, guess generated selectors, or treat an unrelated form as the password stage. Unrecognized controls, social/enterprise SSO, account selection, email/SMS codes, MFA, recovery, passkeys and CAPTCHA require manual interaction. A submitted stage does not prove successful authentication.

Claude

The entry is https://claude.ai/login. The bounded email-only adapter may enter the selected identity’s email and request a login link once. It does not retrieve or fill a saved password: Claude’s official guidance states that there is no dedicated Claude account password. The user completes the emailed link or verification code manually. Google/enterprise SSO and security challenges are not automated; codes are not treated as a password or automatic TOTP challenge.

Verification and transport limits

These adapters are exercised against semantic fixtures, not a successful live authenticated account run. Public source inspection on 2026-09-30 encountered HTTP 403 challenge responses. ChatGPT’s extracted public entry text showed email/Continue controls, but did not establish raw selectors or a live password transaction. No additional static resource origins were established by those responses: only the known document origins, their same-origin challenge paths, and https://challenges.cloudflare.com were evidenced. Missing resource evidence is not permission for wildcard/direct-network fallback. Provider challenges remain intact; email-sender domains are not browser transport destinations.

See OpenAI’s authentication origin documentation, ChatGPT login, OpenAI login, and Claude’s official login guidance. The separate system-browser handoff still uses OS routing and separate cookies; it does not import a completed login into the embedded session.

Explicit automatic authenticator codes

Self-hosted Bitwarden, Vaultwarden and Nextcloud

Under Mail / storage, choose Bitwarden (self-hosted), Vaultwarden, or Nextcloud and keep your own HTTPS hostname/port. These presets require HTTPS but never change the address or certificate policy when selected. Vaultwarden is a community server with a patched Bitwarden web vault; it is not Bitwarden’s official server, and this profile does not sign into Vaultwarden’s /admin token page. Nextcloud uses its website account password, not a WebDAV app password.

For Bitwarden/Vaultwarden, explicitly select Automatic form login and save the website email/master password in the connection’s protected database. The embedded viewer opens the fixed /#/login route; start on its email-entry screen. The reviewed web-vault flow enters email and clicks Continue once; the native backend retains the master password until the same reviewed form displays its original password controls. It then releases the password once and submits once. There is no password-only remembered-account shortcut and no retry after rejection. Native grants expire after 30 seconds; the client stops after 15 seconds, or immediately on changed form/navigation or owning-database lock/switch. Reopen the owning database and explicitly reload to start again. This flow requires the matching updated desktop backend: an older backend rejects its closed authentication mode, not a generic form fallback.

The fixed two-stage flow does not accept Advanced selector, delay, fill-only or additional-field overrides; clear those options or use manual login. The tested controls match Bitwarden web-v2026.7.0 and the corresponding Vaultwarden web-vault build. Different versions, custom themes, remembered-account screens and organization-required SSO may need manual login. Nextcloud uses the reviewed ordinary POST login form; its existing request token remains website-managed. Root-path deployments use /login; enter a subdirectory deployment’s login URL manually when necessary.

Optional automatic authenticator codes require the separate explicit setup below. For web vaults, only the selected authenticator app provider is recognized at the root application path, never the email, recovery, device approval or passkey controls. Nextcloud recognizes only the installed twofactor_totp app at /login/challenge/totp or /index.php/login/challenge/totp; other providers, enrollment and subdirectory challenge paths remain manual. Selecting a profile does not select or enable an authenticator.

Use Open in system browser for SSO, WebAuthn/passkeys/security keys or an incompatible embedded login. That explicit action uses the saved HTTPS origin, without passwords, callback parameters or current-page fragments. Browser cookies and network routing are separate; a browser login does not authenticate the embedded tab. Nothing bypasses the website’s master-password, MFA or certificate checks.

Reviewed primary sources: Bitwarden web-v2026.7.0 two-stage login, authenticator-only component, Vaultwarden web-vault builds, Nextcloud login, Nextcloud TOTP challenge. Verification uses synthetic rendered forms and local mock servers, not live vaults, user credentials, or a guarantee for every deployed version.

Enable an existing authenticator

  1. Enroll your authenticator with the website using its normal account-security process. Configure the existing secret in this connection under Protocol → Recovery → 2FA / TOTP. This app does not enroll/reset the website account.
  2. In Application, choose the supported challenge and a connection authenticator. No authenticator is selected automatically.
  3. Click Enable automatic codes for this origin, then save the connection. HTTPS with certificate verification is required. Consent stores a stable authenticator reference and the exact HTTPS origin, not a second secret or an OTP.
  4. Connect and complete the password stage, manually or using its separate explicit automatic-login setting. The supported challenge may receive one transient code after the page/document, database access, persisted consent, origin, and exact controls are checked. A rejected submission is not retried.

The initial challenge search lasts 30 seconds. If it expires before submission, the 2FA Codes panel offers Check for 2FA challenge again. It cannot repeat a submitted code during the same proxy session. A fresh proxy session starts a new authentication attempt. A page acknowledgment means the code was submitted, not that the website accepted the login. Missing or duplicate authenticator IDs, unavailable database access, unpersisted consent, or disabled certificate verification block automatic codes.

Changing the address does not silently rebind consent. Explicitly review and enable again for the new origin. Disable automatic codes to return to manual entry. The session’s 2FA Codes panel remains available for manual copying. Custom plugins, email/SMS codes, recovery codes, enrollment, CAPTCHA, SSO and push approval are not generalized into automatic TOTP.

Proxy and true-origin limitations

Tactical RMM requires an HTTPS dashboard address. Standard installations configure the frontend’s PROD_URL as a separate API origin. A reviewed Tactical RMM preset derives the two common exact background-request layouts from the saved dashboard host: for https://rmm.example.com, fetch/XHR may use https://api.rmm.example.com or https://api.example.com on the default HTTPS port. The connection editor also accepts one explicitly reviewed canonical HTTPS API origin for a nonstandard deployment. The native proxy validates the exact origin and full destination on every request and performs normal certificate checks.

This is not a suffix-wide subdomain grant. It does not approve navigation, WebSocket, workers, WebRTC, WebTransport, an unlisted sibling, or any other host/port. The route expires with the owning document. Dashboard cookies, custom headers, saved HTTP credentials and connection query parameters are not copied to the API origin; Tactical’s own request authorization remains available. The API route is intentionally stateless: it neither forwards nor retains cookies and suppresses the dashboard referrer while preserving its origin for the API’s normal CORS checks. Malformed imported API origins invalidate the reviewed profile instead of silently widening or dropping its route.

Passkeys and security keys (including YubiKey WebAuthn) depend on the website’s real relying-party origin. Use the system browser at that origin; the localhost proxy must not impersonate it. The external browser has separate cookies and uses the operating system’s routing, not this connection’s embedded proxy route. Opening it is always explicit, not a background launch.

GitHub and Brevo selection does not overwrite the current address. Their explicit Use login address action sets the reviewed hosted authority without changing certificate settings or saved secrets. The initial page uses the preset’s static login path; proxy transport still binds only the configured origin.

For every valid HTTPS website, the sign-in notice offers an explicit system-browser action. It derives a destination from the saved HTTPS authority and a static profile path, never the current page’s query, fragment, token or SSO callback. Mismatched session/saved authorities and malformed metadata disable this handoff. YubiKey WebAuthn, passkeys and Windows Hello use the actual website origin in that browser, not hardware-key emulation through the proxy. The app does not transfer private keys, saved passwords, cookies, or a completed browser session back to the embedded tab. Review the separate-network-route warning before using this action.
